Default Overheating b16a2

OK.. this maybe the wrong forum to post this in but i felt it applied more than the hybrid section. I've got a 94 ex with a b16a2 in it... it's overheating. Now , we changed the thermostat 3 times, new water pump, purged radiator twice. There is no smoke/ water comeing from my tailpipe yet when I drive the sucker for more than 7-8 min it starts getting hot and after about 10 min over heats. The mechanic I took it to says it's either a blown headgasket or the head is cracked.. If I cracked my head wouldn't there be some signs??? plz help as I have no clue what is causeing this and have already spent quite a bit of money trying to fix it.

Is your fan coming on? If the head gasket or head is bad it will blow white smoke out the exhaust. Make sure you don't have any of yor heater core lines kinked from your swap also.

It possible that the head gasket could be the cause of your problem. I would let the car idel and search for any oil or antifreeze leaks. Check for loose hoses and make sure everyting is connected properly.
