Still Overheating.
Ok so my car is starting to make me p**ed. Its a 95 civic ex d16z6. Problem has been this way for awhile now. My car keeps overheating. New radiator, thermostat, hoses, radiator cap. Ill start it up and drive for about ten minutes. Perfectly fine. But the temp starts to slowly rise and before you know it is starting to overheat. Its not the fan because its engaging and i cant figure out what else it can be.

same deal, bad head gasket, or cracked/warped head. trust me, i replaced everything on my in fear that it would be the head or HG. its really not that hard to swap out. plus, if you want you can have some fun MILDLY porting while the head is off. I recommend new head bolts/studs... but generally not needed. or check your water pump for leaks and such

i had that problem a couple of times.. the first time was the heater core.. i kept losing water and my carpet was soaked so i changed it.. a couple months later it started to over heat again then i changed the head and installed a new headgasket. havent had that problem since and its been about 6 months. good luck and hope you find the problem
