was timing my car last night and finally got it where it was running best and took it out for a spin and shifted from third down in to second at redline.
I started to decelerate the car and then it just died.
Car is getting spark to all pistons, fuel pump is working(whines on as i turn the key to start and relay clicks), checked all related fuses. Changed out the distributor to a different one just in case still nothing. Car will pop start and run for like 30 seconds then die. Seems like its not getting fuel. but smells strong of it.
Im so pissed but im all to blame... what to do someone please help!!!

Did you bend any valves? Compresion and/or leakdown test?

valve float....that's what happened. a friend of mine did exactly the same thing with my last 98 prelude, and it cost me like $2500 to have someone else rebuild my head. your cheapest option is to find a rebuilt/used head rather than rebuild, unless you have alot of headwork already done. once you have your head off, check to make sure there is no damage to the pistons or cylinder wall; they usually hold up pretty well to this situation unless one of your valves actually broke off in there.
Pistons, I'd like to introduce you to the exhaust valves. Exhaust valves, I'd like to introduce you to the pistons.
Like mentioned above, you probably bent the exhaust valves. From your story, it sounds like you had the clutch engaged for a while (a second is an eternity here). You're lucky that the engine still turns over, meaning that the bottom end is probably OK. If I were you, I wouldn't try to start it again. Instead, perform a compression check and prepare to pull the head.
What car is this?

And STOP TRYING TO START THE ENGINE. You broke it and it's not going to start. The ignition system is fine. Check the oil level to see how many pistons fell into the oil pan. Pull the spark plugs out, check the electrodes and peek in the cylinders with a flashlight. Do a leakdown test. And shift a little slower next time...

You will be lucky if you didn't do major damage. A friend of mine did that in is 00 ITR. When we pulled the head half the valves were literally mashed into the head. We had to pick them out. Large hole in one piston and the others were scared. Cylinder walls were fucted. The entire engine was a loss.. at only 30k. Stop trying to start the car and pull the head... be prepared to spend serious $$.

NO... i was going to shift to 4th slipped it in to 2nd by accident heard it rev way to fast pushed clutch back in.. then i braked slowed down and put it in second to drive back to where i was car started to bog then it just died in the middle of an intersection

I spun the crank last night to see if i jumped some teeth on the camshafts which i didn't and to check tdc. The crankshft turns relatively easy.. no rods thrown tho.... what could cause this guess i wont know till i take the top off...

I mean when the pistons fall into the oil pan, it will look like you have 6 or 7 quarts of oil due to the piston bits displacing the oil. I got a very confused phone call from a friend over this...
