My car is having some serious problems...please help, thanks
My car sputters (at least that is the best way I can think of how to describe it) and seems like it is not getting adequate fuel or a spark is not being fired. It is almost like it is being choked. But it only does it at low RPMs but not at idle. When I am in gear and start moving it about chokes out from about 1500-3500 rpms. I have to rev it up while driving to keep it from doing that. But if I don’t rev it just keeps sputtering, but not enough so that the car stalls, until I take it out of gear.
It started the other day and would only do it when I was in second gear, but over the next few days it started doing it every time I started and does it in about every gear, well at least up until third, b\c that is as high as I have gotten before having to cut it off. But whenever I finally get the car above 3500 RPMs it stops. I’ll start driving, it will do it, and then I get over 3500 RPMs and it stops. Then I shift gears and the RPMs drop back down into the lower RPMs and it will happen again until I get in the higher RPMs and so on…
Can anyone think of what the problem might be? My car is a 95 GSR with 100878 miles on it.
Thanks for any input

Well I had Acura replace them at 97000 miles, and they put new plugs in then, It has had all of the necessary scheduled work that needs to be done on it. I had the 100000 Mile check up done at 97000.
you should check your plugs, could be a number of things, even though the plugs are fairly new one of them could have a hairline crack in it and its not firing correctly, but i am sure that if you check your plugs it'll help you figure out the problem

im not sure when the last time I changed the fuel filter, but I think they do that at the 100000 mile check up.
I dont have any aftermarket plug or wires. My wires are old, so I am thinking it might be them.
