OT, but major problem...
Does anyone here have a Gude Performance head package and can enumerate EXACTLY what kind of work they do for one of these packages?
I bought one second-hand and am now being told that it is NOT authentic...
Specifically, do they do any work IN the combustion chamber? (I think not)
And, they merely "chip" the ecu by replacing the one EEPROM, correct? Is there any way of telling (aside from the sticker on the outside) that it is in-fact a Gude ECU?
I really need to verify this, because I could be in some ****-shape. Thanks in advance!

Can anyone verify what the Gude work is for a d16z6 head? I had someone PM me, but they are a trial user and considering the situation I am in, I don't believe I can take their word for it.
In a nut-shell, I sold this second-hand stuff to someone and they claim it isn't legit, so I am in a real bind!!!
If anyone can help I will owe them a big favor...
I know: The throttle plate is anodized green and has the Gude bullfrog engraved in it.
The ECU has the Gude Bullfrog sticker on it.
The ports are matched and polished, as well as the manifold...
Are there any other identifying features?

Well if they replaced the EEPROM in the ECU you should be able to see where they soldered the new chip in. The solder will look alot more sloppy than the rest of the PCB.
I have herd mixed results from people who have used Gude. Some people really good while others want to see them go out of business. As for the authentic part... install it and see what happens. GOt any pics? that might help.

call and ask gude maybe they have a database of head serial #s that they have done
I also have pics of the stuff if someone wants to see, but they are "collages" and really too big to post.
