Clutch won't engage?! help!
Okay, I have a 94 si with quite a bit of miles.. The original engine in it went a while ago, and I put a used 92-93 si engine in.. I didn't have an alignment tool to tak my flywheel off and put it on, so I used the clutch assembally from the earlier engine. So as I am pulling up to my apartment last night, getting into gear felt a little funny, so I took it out of gear and tried to put it back in but it wouldn't go.. it would engage in any gear, just grind.. so I shut the car off in the middle of the road, put it in first(goes in all gears when shut off) nad started her up.. this limped me up to the next free parking space.. when I pushed the clutch in the car still tried to move a little bit. So I pop the hood but it was way too dark so I just went in.. Go out this morning and fire her up.. won't go into any gear.. it only grinds if I try to put it in reverse. I pop the hood.. no weird sounds I can notice coming from the tranny.. I check all my resovours(yes yes I can't spell
).. and they all seem full. I don't know which exact one I check for the clutch, but i'm guessing I was looking at the brake, clutch, and power steering.. they were all fine. I am guessing it's either the pressure plate or a broken throw out bearing, but I wanted to know if anyone knows what this most likely is? Is there a way to adjust the hydrolic system? to get it to engage? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would guess at either pressure plate is done or the throw out bearing is worn completely (but this would cause a whirring noise all the time and then disappear when you depress the clutch) i have a similar problem right now in that i cant engage any gear at higher rpms (above 5k rpm) but can if i double clutch, i think my problem is the pressure plate, so it looks like a whole new clutch kit for me as this is my original one and its coming up on 85k miles.
