ECU causing A/C not to work ???
My wife and I recently was given a 1998 honda civic lx. I put a axle shaft in it as well as brakes. The car run's great. But now that it has gotten hot out side the A/C does not work. I took the car to a local ASE certifed repair shop to have the A/C charged (but they said that the ground coming out of the ecu is the problem). Has any body ever here of this or have this problem?? If so how do you fix it?? Other than having the ecu rebuilt?? Thanks Guys. Al

Does your civic having the following similar problem?
The A/C works normally under cool weather.
The A/C works for 10-15 mins under hot weather, then it stops working; turn it off for awhile, then it will work again for 10-15mins.

I had the same problem with my 92 civic. Just got it out of the shop last week. Get yourself a new ECU and problem should be gone. I got mine from eBay for $65.00 but there is a web site to get a rebuild for about $100.00 + S&H
Good luck
