gude stuff is only good if you know bill himself or someone over there...otherwise when you get your head back, it will probably have 1) a bent valve or two 2)missing dowels and/or bolts 3) marks that resemble dog bites all over it 4) corrosion that could have happened if it was thrown overboard of the titanic 5) messy port werk...all this is considering you get your head BACK, which sometimes does not happen within 3-4 months after its lost mysteriously. gude ****, when done right, is among the best. good luck getting it done right.

I talked to the Gude people at the thier shop. Not a shop like MMR they even said they were haveing problems with stuff like that so they are tring to sale factory direct instead of going through another shop to sale things. But if that happens I would be whoopin some ***. But thanks for the info

Matt @ MMR insits that if you go thru him, it will be perfect...i thought out that for a sec...why the hell should i have to worry about it coming back less than perfect, regardless WHO itgoes thru to get to gude. knowing the right people should get you mob protection, not a freakin' quality port-job.

thats true. But if I do end up getting it it will be factory direct. I talk to MMR also its like $200-300 more thru them so cheaper and faster to go factory direct.
