open loop w/cel?
If I am running an open loop, is it still possible to throw a CEL (#1 primary o2 sensor) because im pretty sure thats whats happening. CEL comes on periodically after driving around and if the car is shut down then started up again it goes away.
If you are running in open loop you allready have the CEL on, or it should be on.
Did you disable it from going to closed loop?
If you have the CEL on it means your computer is trying to save the emissions control systems and the motor and it goes into open loop.
Closed loop = computer controlled and is responding to the sensors.
Open loop = Not responding to sensors and running off a basic/default setting.
