Default Ok to drive with a VTEC head with a nonvtec ECU?

I was wondering if I can run it temporarily (B20VTEC)around with my OBD2 LS ECU? It'll just run like a REGULAR NON VTEC head correct? I have to run it temporarily to drive to pick up a harness and a p28 ecu
