ok putting a LS vtec motor in a 91 interga using a non obd b16 head on a new OBD2 block (low miles) but the rad fan wont come on if the *ECT switch* is not pluged in (back of motor) what else will make the fans come on is there anything eles, other sensors that will control the fans

 

Where the lower coolant hose connects to the engine is the thermostat. On the thermostat housing there should be a 2 wire switch. Its the new rad. fan switch. Connect your 2 wires from the back of the engine to it.

 

thanks so if i take the two wire from the back (green & black *i think*) and conect them using the sensor in the rad hose housing the ran fan will work fine

all that sensor does is complete a cruict to turn the fan on right no voltage or ohm's right and does not go to the ECU i dont want to fry the ECU
