Oil Pan Still leaking!!!!
I have replaced my oil pan gasket twice now and it still leaks! there is no gasket maker used on it and it has been torqued down to the proper settings, but still it leaks lil by lil! I dont know what to do! I have an N/A B18b and I added a GSR oil pump to my setup! I am wondering if maybe my oil pressure is too high?
Take your pan off and make sure its flat. Someone in the past may have overtorqued one or more bolts, bending that area slightly. Ive seen this on valve covers on some cars. Get a good straight edge to test it.
A) Make sure your oil pan is straight.
B) Make sure to use an OEM gasket.
C) Make sure to use HondaBond in the correct spots.
D) Make sure NOT to overtighten the bolts/nuts.
Where is it leaking from? Was it the same spot with both gaskets?

I am using an OEM gsket and they suck now! What happened to the OEM gaskets having the metal grommets in them to prevent overtorquing and to keep the gasket from squishing out the sides?
Also I am torquing down the gasket to correct torque specs however there is on spot it keeps squishing out of!

dude the spot wher eis squishing out is probably the tranny side its supose to stick out a bit there s a lip but make sure not to much ......it shouldnt leak check it out before u think its going to leak:p...trust me i thought the same thing..
I had this once and it ended up being the rear main seal. (crankshaft seal) not saying thats your prob. but its just something to consider b/c it will leak like its coming from the oil pan.......

Already replaced when engine was rebuilt, its definitely no this it isnt even leaking on this side; its leaking by the exhaust manifold on the front of the engine on the Crank pulley side!

Dude you got to take the pan off and set it down upside down and see if you can see any light through it. I gaurantee that its warped, most likely from being torqued down, and it will get depressions where the bolts tighten.
You need to get a mallet and attempt to flatten it out totally. Then go about the business of the Hondabond and a new gasket. (if u have a newer gasket you wont have to replace it again most likely.
It has nothing to do with the oil pressure from the pump. If the motor is high compression you could say that there is some crankcase pressure in there and its gotta leak out somewhere.
There are two freeze plugs on the back of your block, if you order two plugs from honda from a 90 prelude, they will screw into where the freeze plugs are, and you can then hook them up to a catchcan to relieve all that crankcase pressure.
This will help the motor run better, and there will be less pressure blowing out the pan.
Between flattening the pan back out, and relieving the pressure you will no longer leak any oil
Good luck
