Default oil pan question

Are aftermarket oil pans in any way illegal? I live in Southern cali so it seems that almost every aftermarket part is illegal. Does anybody have any problems with the visual part of the smog check?

i doubt that they will say anything about an oil pan but you can't be too sure... cops can be ****** sometimes.

They would theoretically have to prove that it changes the emissions of the engine in some way/shape/form.

Should not be an issue
