Default Oil pan question.

I recently changed my oil, afterwards I then noticed/smelled a leak. So I replaced the plug/washer and to my surprise it still leaked. I'm guessing it's the gasket between the pan and the block. To be safe I went to a local junkyard and bought a used oil pan. The thing is the oil pan says d15b? my question is I have a z6 will this oil pan directly bolt on to my car without any modifications.

No clue here. But if you ever get to a B16A and a B18B, the oil pans are the same. I'm sure somebody here will know or you can just call Honda or some other import parts store up and find out the part #'s for both to see if they're the same or not.

The guy at the junkyard said it would fit, but I bought a cluster from them once, I told them I needed an AT and they gave me a MT. So, it wouldn't surprise me.

yes it will work. you can't tell the difference from an AT and a MT cluster? and if you don't trust them then why did you go back?

You may need the oil pickup form the D15 also, but only if the pan depth is different than what you have already.
