I have a EG hatch with a h22 H2B swap in it. Im using the Evolution H2B kit. The motor sits forward in the engine bay so when i add four quarts it reads above the second dot on the dipstick. Do i add more oil for leave it the way it is? Need opinions. Thanks

 

the h22 actually take 4.2 quarts... so you must still have some old oil in there... too much oil will ruin bearings just as well as too little, so it really depends on how FAR above the top dot you are...

 

There is no oil in it. I had to take the oil pan off before i put it back together. Im aware that too much oil is bad thats why i made this thread.

 

did you change the oil filter also? if not thats where your extra oil came from....

IMO as long as your readin ok on the dip stick you should be fine, the motor sits at the same angle in your car as it would in any other car with the correct mounts
