Default Oil leak.. Pleas help

Ok, I just built my ls/vtec. I started it the other day and it started up first time no problem. It ran really good and then a lot of oil started coming out of the oil pump. I check for the leak and found that I forgot to plug the oil pump. After I did that I started it again and the leak stoped from there but another one started up in that same area. It comes out pretty fast and looks like it could be coming out from between the oil pump and the engine block. I checked the crank timing gear and there is no oil there. Is it possible that the leak could be coming from here if it is not sealed completely? Thanks for any input in advance.

Default Re: Oil leak.. Pleas help (shreddinryguy)

Well after doing a lot of test and trying to figure stuff out I finally think i found the problem. When the guy replaced my oil pump I dont think that he put the O ring on the oil pump. It seems that this is where the oil is coming out of and it makes since that this woudl be the problem considering there isnt a gasket on the oil pump so this is the most logical solution to my problem. Hopefully everything works out.
