sup guys. running a pc680 in the trunk on my weekend warrior. only electronics on the car are headlights/blinkers and then a radio plus a fan switch wired directly to the battery. if I open up hondata and turn the key, the battery shows 12.3v. when cranking drops down to 11.2v and sometimes will be enough to crank the motor over, and then go up to 14V fluctuation between 13.95-14.25 while the motor runs. I could drive for 5minutes or a hour and when I shut the car down, the battery voltage will show 12.1-12.3V. sounds like the battery is to blame yes? have it on a charger at the moment to see how much voltage it will actually hold and if it drops after I install/let it sit

 

Update battery tested 13.5v when on charger after a hour but when putting back in car reads 12.5 and dropped to 12.39 steady

 

that's normal, it will bleed off after you shut the car off

unless it's not starting it's fine

 

anything under 12.3v wont start the car. using 0 gauge wire but battery in trunk so might be too far away
