Is it possible to use ODBI ecus on cars with VTEC E?

it is verry possible to use it but by just pluging in the ecu you will get a check engine lite and it wont idle but if you put a 4 plug o2 sensor from a dx,lx,ex, or si then you can just wire the other two wires into the harness and it should run right unless you put a non-vtec ecu in your car then you will have a check engine light so if you put a p28 in there and converted the o2 sensor then it will run fine except for the fact that it will be running rich which can wash the oil off your cylinder walls.
