i'm puttin a obd1 jdm b16a in a 99 ex...i'm not worried about ecu, alternator or injectors...just the dizzy, mainly the ckp...how would i wire that **** up...i'm using a 99 si computer, and i know i'ma throw the code for it...and the kid that i'm doin the swap for doesn't have the funds for a conversion harness...help a brother out!
You have to use an OBD2 B series oil pump (has mount for the Crank fluc. sensor) and then add the sensor. There are no issues with OBD1 to OBD2 dizzy's - internally they are the same, just different plug styles. You can use the OBD1 dizzy if you change the plugs to match the harness, or you can get a OBD2 VTEC dizzy for plug and play.
