When I got the lsd, I opened it up and to clean it and put it back together according to the “how to field-strip…” thread. When doing so I noticed that I actually had 7 washers instead of 6 and both the axle gears and washer sleeves were identical. I figured this was not that big of a deal at the time so I put it back together along with the 7 washers like this ()()()(. Now with the lsd in the tranny and in the car the passenger side axle will go in as far as I could get it but I can pull it out by hand. I don’t think it is going in far enough to catch the clip on the end of the axle shaft. Was the lsd messed up to begin with? Should I of had taken the extra washer out? Or do I need to pound the axle in more…I think its as far as it will go.
