Default obd1 vs obd2

i am going to be helping a friend drop an h22 into his accord and i was wondering what is the difference between OBD1 and OBD2. i have heard that obd1 is better for tunning and so on. but i would like clarification on this matter.

not exactly sure but i think the differeces is that OBD1 only has one o2 sensor
and OBD2 has 2 o2 sensor.

Many differences between OBD2 and OBD1. OBD2 has catalyst deterioration detection-thus the second O2 sensor. OBD2 has misfire detection-CKF sensor at crank gear by timing belt. OBD2 has EVAP system leak detection-which involves a whole bunch of stuff not found on OBD1 cars-the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor for one. OBD1 is easier to chip or run Hondata.
