My Civic is sputtering when Accelerating hard, HELP!!!

Default My Civic is sputtering when Accelerating hard, HELP!!!

I have an 87' Civic Si, and just replaced the Distributor(after it cut itself in half ) and it wont quit sputtering when i accelerate quickly, but it only does that when i press the gas about an inch down... what did i do wrong???

I would check your plugs and wires. If that fails it might be your fuel system. If you can check your air/fuel ratio when it is sputtering. One thing I had to do in a similar situation in the past was coat all the electical connections with di-electric grease. Hope this help
