OBD1/OBD2 LS differences?
i just bought a LS swap from a 95 integra. i gotta P75 ECU, but its got 3 rows of pins in each plug....which leads me to believe ive got an OBDII ecu. i wanted to know what physical difference i would be able to go by on the engine itself so i know for sure that ive got OBD1. any help would be great.

the head is stamped 95.

Its OBD2
The PCV is located on a breather box on the back of the block on the OBD1 engines. As you can see yours is located on the valve cover.

see, the thing is, ive already dropped this engine in, bought new mounts and DONT wanna take it back to the yard to get it replaced. any CHEAP suggestions?

looks the exact same as all of my OBD2 fpr's

yes, its confirmed, its a 96 LS... im trying to find out EXACTLY what i need to make this work
a OBD1 to OBD2A conversion harness, and just retain my obdII ecu? or do i need to change other things?

Get the OBD1 ECU(it will be easiest). You can get the conversion harness as well but I think you may have to run the CPS(crank position sensor) then? I am not sure about this so LMK what you find out. New info is always good.

this is where i get lost, what will be okay? what ecu, what harness, what dizzy, what intake mani? i need someone that has done this, or KNOWS for sure what to do. thanks for the help
I have a OBD1 ECU and distributor that I will sell you if you need it
I actually have a entire 95 LS engine (without harness and header) and a matching p75 obd1 ecu

see if i change it to obd1, then i have to change the intake mani as well, correct?
if i get the ecu, and the dizzy, will that be all i need?

I think that is all you need
think about it
in order to swap in an ITR in a civic is get an obd1 dizzy and used an usdm engine harness and something like a chipped p28 and you are good to go
I don't see why it would be any different with the LS

ya...?
anyway, if i use the obd1 p75 will everything work fine? or should i convert everything (harness, dizzy, and intake mani) over to obd1 to keep the obd1 ecu and wiring? or should i get the obd1-obd2a conversion harness and do it like that?
what one is GAURENTEED to work for me?

The easiest solution would be for you to get an OBDII engine wiring harness, and an OBDI P75 ECU. Doing so will keep everything plug and play.

In order to run an OBDI engine harness, you would need an OBDI distributor, alternator, and injectors. Intake manifold would not need to be changed.

i should still be getting spark with the obd1 P05 that comes with the CX... but im not... *shrugs*
edit: i forgot to put int he first post, that the engine swap is obd2, the morons sent the wrong one.
