Default obd1 motor in obd2a car

got a situation on my hands just wanted to get some insights on my options on this dilema,

99 gsr with obd1 motor gsr as well
ecu is obd2a
by pased the crank sensor by wiring it up by using this web write up

now my obd2 scaner pics up bank 1 sensor 1
only problem is i disconected my bank one sensor to make sure it was sensor not wiring
went to check it out with mechanic and he said it was still picking up some voltage, but sensor is disconected.. someone got any ideas?

If you clear the code does it come right back on?

ya clear it and just pops back on after i get back on main screen
