this is riceboy posting under DIRep's name, his computer wont let me log him out.
Me and him have been doing a B18A swap in my car this weekend, and its all ready to go and I run into a problem, the OBD0 distributor (white plug) that I have, wont bolt up to the B18A (it came out of a 92 LS). So it looks like its gonna have to be hard wired, and I need a diagram for the wiring. The wires I have on the OBD0 (white plug) distributor are as follows
white
blue / peach / peach with blue line
blue with yellow line / white / white with blue line
empty
I've got a spare OBD1 wiring harness to do the hard wiring with, just need to go pick up the distributor.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
And thanks goes out to Art and Richard also for coming over to help out this weekend.

ok, let me just get this straight:
car: 95 LS
motor: b18a
first off if the b18a is from a 92 LS then the distributor should work just fine, 92-93 tegs are OBD1. 90-91 tegs are OBD0.
If i'm correct about the car and motor you're swapping then you shouldn't have to do any hard wiring for the distributor. Put the engine wiring harness off of your stock motor (obd1) onto the b18a. The obd1 distributor will bolt right onto the motor and plug right into your obd1 wiring.
also, an obd0 distributor will NOT work if you're running the car obd1. so you can't just swap plugs and plug the obd0 dist into your obd1 system and expect it to run. The internals of the 2 distributors are different and the ecu won't be getting the correct readings.
I might be giving you completely wrong info cause i'm not 100% sure of the exact swap you're doing or the exact question you're asking. clarify that stuff for us first.

oh, sorry, the motor is in a 90 CR-X Si with an OBD0 PR4 computer and harness. The whole car is wired for OBD0, the distributor white plugs are what needs to be used, but the white plug distributor wont bolt to the B18A.

OK, looking at the wires some more, I can color match all but two of them, there are two white wires on the OBD0 (white plug) distributor, and only one on the OBD1 wiring harness, on the OBD1 harness, there is a yellow with green line wire that will have to be wired to one of the white OBD0 wires.
Any clues??

You cannot use an OBD1 distributor with an OBD0 ECU.
The number of pulses for the sensors are not the same.
It will NEVER work.
About the two white wires, it's nearly impossible to tell them appart, so I just plug them in. If the car doesn't start, then I know I have those two wires crossed.
But the car will not run if you use an OBD1 distributor with an OBD0 ECU anyways.

Hey Im in the same boat as u! I have a 1990 STD Civic hatch and I have a B18A goin into it from a 93 integra. I have the whole front clip from the integra so Im tryin to use the wiring from the OBD1 integra and convert it. Im like half way done and now Im stuck, so if you find out anything let me know PLEASE!!!!

You can not use the OBd1 dizzy with the OBD0 ecu. But for the heck of it... the pinnouts for the whites are:
OBd1 side of the dizzy.....white....goes to B12 OBd1 or B12 OBd0
OBd1 side of the dizzy.....yel/blue or yel/green.....goes to A21 OBD1 or B15 OBD0
