OBD-II ECU Modification
Check out Hondata.com if you really want to raise your rev limit. Basically $150 to $300 on the ecu, $200 for the harness, $330 for the Hondata unit. You'll also need to upgrade the springs and retainers (about $400). Installation price won't be cheap either. I don't think this is worth it unless you are looking at some major increase in horsepower, and NEED the engine management.
You really have no options if you wish to keep the ATTS. The 5th Gen ECU cannot be chipped. No ignition modifier will allow you to raise your rev limit. If you go to Hondata or any other standalone you will lose your ATTS functionality.
Thanks....
We can not run a OBD-II to OBD-I conversion or any external device. Everything must remain in the stock ECU housing and nothing can be hacked into the harness. The rules of this certain class say so...
Not looking for any more power, just a few more revs before the fuel cut comes in.
No - we can not loose the ATTS.
Dirtylude - you seem to know a bit about the Lude. I do not. I know everything under the sun about the DC and EG chassis, I'm just trying to help a fellow road racer. Do you know if the JDM ECU offers a higher fuel cut?
Thanks
