My 96 civic Hatch is throwing a P1259 code which mean VTEC system Malfuntion when i search and it says Manufacturer Contrl Fuel Air Metering on the scanner. I have a 95 Si motor in my hatch right now, which is two different systems. How can i fix this problem. Also my car will not REV past 5600 RPMs while driving, so if i launch my limit is 5600 until my shift. I NEED HELP i have never had this problem. Okay...and if that doesnt do it? because at 5600RPMs it is bogging out, like it bounces worse than a rev limiter....
