O2 sensor question

Okies here's the thing, my cousin has a 91 integra with B18A1 and his o2 sensor totally fucked, i mean we superglued it together and put clear tape on it just to make the engine look a bit better! but do/will/should u really need a o2 sensor for the car to run smoothy because his engine has been losing alotta power even with a new header and exhaust-

Yup.. Its not accurate for tuning but great for gas mileage.. But if yours is broken I would still get one..
