o2 sensor help
I put some anti-seize lub on the thread part of the o2 sensor, that wouldnt harm it would it?
would it cause me to have an check engine light?

No. The anti-seize will keep the O2 sensor from backing out of the header/downpipe while driving from the vibration (which I've had happen before... sucks because you get a nasty sound like your exhaust broke and you lose power right away). You may want to make sure that you didn't hit/bend the housing or make it come loose. I've seen O2 sensors go bad and throw a code when somebody hit it with a wrench while tightening it back up. If you can twist and/or wiggle the housing of the O2 sensor while tightly screwed into the header, then it's busted and needs to be replaced.
