o2 sensor
I have a 4 wire in port 2 and a five wire in port 1 does any one know how this could happen? and where to find a 5 wire or and extession to run to an aftermarket cat on a 98 civic w/ a dy16b bottom end w/ ? top end. I can't figure out what top end I have. Or how to figure out why the p28 I bought and harness makes the engine idle @2300 rpm?
The five wire o2 means you have a hx. The pins on the ecu will be differnt so you have to make sure you fix that. If you have the p28 it wont car about the secondary o2 so just use the 4 wire in front and leave the 5 wire in the second to plug the hole. It doesnt matter if its not plugged in.
I have an aftermarket header so I think the o2 sensor is fried because the port for it is off the far passager side cylinder. So I gues I would need to get a new five wire that is not fried and plug it in the secondary and use the four wire to plug the first. does the p28 read the five wire or the four wire?????????????? could my harness be crossed??????????
