Default Nos on a ZC worth it!

i was going to do a 92-95 greddy kit on my ZC but i dont have the tools nor the time to do it! theres no way i can wait to get the turbo kit on my car because i work alot and school! but i want tomething more out of my ZC! does anyone have a ZEX kit on there zc and how does it work out for them, i dont want anybullshit i just want the truth if you guys think a stock ZC can handle a low shot on N2, like a 50-55 shot nothing to great just a little boost when i need it, i know that a greddy kit is so much better but i just cant do it right now! please let me know of all your thoughts of my putting a zex kit on my zc thanks alot! oh ya and how long could i use it before it does damage to my engine and how often thanks

The question should be is the ZC worth it. The nos is always worth it. Its old and overated. Its just an undercover sohc. I had a 70 shot on my sohc though. I never had any problems I used ngk bkr7e spark plugs.

maybe i missed it somewhere, but you never mentioned if your ZC was dual cam or single. it doesnt matter though, anything can handle NOS, the question is can you do it safely? watercrafts, atvs, bikes, they all have nos kits for them on the market. as long as you give it enough fuel and dont use it too much your engine should outlast your taste in that car probably. fyi, the instant 60+ torque is incredible. you will never feel anything like it... your car pulls so hard you will giggle like a little girl.

Why bother with Nos? I prefer power all the time instead of here and there. When you lose a race are you gunna say oh well my bottle ran out. Plus if u dont know a lot dont go nos just will = blowen shyt up

ya i know nos isnt flammable thanks for the advice do you think ill be ok with a good tune up at first and then upgrade to a inline fuel pump and bigger injectors etc is a stock fuel set ok for a 55 shot

I used a walboro intanke pump, bkr7e's, and a single fogger 70 shot on a 96 cx. Stock timing, it was fine. Just be sure to check you number 3 spark plug very closely, check'm all but keep an eye on 3 they like to run leanest.

i dont uderstand why its not its cost alot less than a b16 i dont have to buy custom motor mounts axles etc. i would love to have a b16 but why not a zc its better than a stock 1.5 so back off there are tons of people here that have a ZC!

yeah quit ******* hatin' the ZC. they are cheap and so much better than a 1.5L DX hamster honda put in there stock. stop telling this kid to do a b-motor like he NEVER heard about them before. obviously he knew all his options and decided on the ZC, now help him work with it.
