when i turn on my motor on in its cold state... its rev up to 2k and stays there till it gets a lil warmer... the idle drops but then it fluctuates from 1500 to 2000 for a minute or two till its at running temp.. is that something i have to worry about??? oh and sometimes when i turn my car on... warm or cold.. it doesnt rev up at all.. just turns on to about 400 rpm.. sometimes it even stalls out.. fuel problem???

 

Just guessing, but check you FIT valve.

 

FIT valve? what does it look like and how would i go about checkin it? thanks for the quick reply

 

FIT valve is located (when looking at the motor from infront of the car) left front of the intake manifold(at least on my b16), it has 2 coolant lines running to it, if you unbolt that off the manifold, then unscrew the lid, inside is a plastic piece that has to be screwed back down into place, when this loosens your cold idle will be higher will cause it to lope... that should be the problem
