Just curious. Are all the "1995 body" Preludes (sorry dont know the generation) ...are they all VTEC's??

Or is there a Non - vtec model.

 

i believe that you can get the 2.3 in non-vtec...but most of the 2.2's are vtec...theres a 94 for sale around my house for 6000, it looks real good and runs nice...get at me if you want me to get some details

 

Thanks. I'm looking at one now. I just wasn't sure if they were "ALL" VTEC's. He said all Preludes were, I wasn't sure.

 

there are definetely non-vtecs, not sure on the specifics, but yes, that guy is telling you bs.

 

They also made an S in that body style that was a 2.2 SOhc non vtec. 135 hp, 12x tq. My friends is a 92. It's slow for the most part.

 

The fourth-gen prelude (92-96) came in three different flavors. First was the S model with a 135hp 2.2l sohc, next is the Si with a 160hp 2.3l Dohc, and last there is the Vtec with a 2.2l 190hp Dohc that was introduced in 93. If your gonna get a non-vtec at least get the Si. The Si and vtec as far as the trim is concerned are much better than the S model. Good luck
