im just wondering if anyone else has experienced the terrible noise of a 6 puck after installation. ive talked to a few people on the nissan forums and they said they have the same issues and its normal but id like to get some input. should i go with a different setup or what. thanks

 

what kind of noises exactly? throwout bearing chatter?

 

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THAT SQUEELING NOISE WHILE RELEASING THE CLUTCH? i HAVE TAKEN MINE ALL APART AND REPACED ALMOST EVERY THING AND IT STILL DOES IT. iMPORT POWER HOUSE SAYS THAT IT IS BECAUSE OF THE 6 PUCK AND THE FORCE

 

Sinter clutches make different sound than a mass-clutch.

 

Its normal... mine squeals when starting from a full stop.

 

Mine does the squealing noise too so don't feel bad

 

I have a ClutchMasters, mine does this all the time, I notice it more when its cold out though, not as much when its warm.

I've got the CM 6 puck unsprung Kevlar.

If let it out slowly, it will howl like a dying dog. It tends to get worse with heat.
