no tach in some CTRs?
I recently bought a couple JDM B16B motors, one to replace my scattered B16A, the other a spare for when I do it again. Only one motor came with a harness,(obd2), and I see that on obd2, they combined the coil and distributor connectors into one, but the blue Tach wire is missing on the harness side, and the hole in the connector is plugged. Did some CTRs come without tachometers??
I just swapped out the new CTR dizzy and put in my old OBD1 dizzy, so my harness would plug in, but I am curious why there is no tach wire on the obd2 harness.

The OBD2b gets each signal from the ECU. Most people wire it to the tach service connector on the drivers side shock harness tach service connector

If the Tachometer gets it's signal from the ECU, Which pin or wire color is it? Don't know what a service connector is, and don't know where it is in the harness; driver side/passenger side means nothing unless you say what side is driver side(USDM or JDM), Won't help much anyway, since the harness is in a cardboard box that came with the swap. Just like to know which wire is used for tach signal, since the normal Blue one is missing from the Dizzy connector.
thanks
