so i bought a 94 eg coupe with a 95 gsr swap. i put everything in and when i go to start it the car cranks over but doesnt start. so i bought a new coil, new ignitor, spark plugs, plug wires and fresh injectors. i go to start it again same thing. i pulled the spark plugs out and there was no fuel on them, and i changed the main relay, and the fuel pump is working. the fuel stops at the injectors almost like it needs a resistor box but there stock injectors. i dont know whats wrong with it need help fast. had some people from local shops to come look at it and they dont even know whats wrong with it. maby more im forgetting , ive spent alot of time and money on this car so will somone please help

and it has uncut dash harness and engine harness. and all my grounds are hooked up.

ran out of money and starting to loose patients can someone help please!!??

Have you checked your ecu?

No fuel, injectors are controled by the ECU/ECM.

No spark, look for ign. input to the ICM from the ECU/ECM.

I would try anew or known working ECU/ECM, or try yours in a working car. 94

 

tried diffrent ecu's outta running cars still does the same thing, i think there might be a break in the dash harness

 

Drop the PGM-FI Main Relay and test for power input and output, what dash harness and PGM-FI Main Relay are you using?

Test for 12V+ at the distributor assembly, [with ign. switch in run, black/yellow lead].

Test for 12V+ at the injector plugs, [lead that is the same color on all 4 leads] ign. switch in run. 94

 

Hmm how about your fuses?

 

i check the fuses like 3 times a day hah

 

the dizzy gets 12 volts but and so does the relay. and my dash harness has a extra map sensor whats up with that??

 

There are 3 12V+ powers going to the PGM-FI Main Relay....

A 12V+ constant, [hot at all times].
A 12V+ switched, [hot in run and start].
A 12V+ start, [hot during cranking to start only]

The outputs are...

The injector relays output, [hot in run and start]
The fuel pump relays output, [hot for a few sec. once ign. switch is turned on and at all times once engine is running].

Have you checked for power at the distributor when cranking to start?

How are you checking the fuses, are you just eyeballing them or actually testing them?94

 

i had this happen once does your fuel pump prime? if not It could be the wires for ground that connect to the thermostat housing

 

yea fuel pump primed and every thing, but i just said **** it and traded it haha

 

let that guy deal with it, i got a better car any ways but thanks for the help guys
