Good morning guys,
Im a "newbie" to this forum,and have a question.
I recently acquired a 98 CR-V EX from mt Daughter-in law (cheap).The truck runs and drives fine,but is in need of some MAJOR maintenance.I have ordered a Timing belt Component kit,plugs,Valve cover gasket,and other small stuff from Rockauto.
I also noticed that on Rockauto it listed a Balance Shaft belt(which I ordered).
My service info is from Alldata.com,and there is no mention of a Balance Shaft belt(or procedure to change it)....probably should have researched the procedure before ordering it...
I have replaced Timing belts before on Mitsubishi,s,and only one of them ever had a balance shaft.
Guess the question here is...Does this engine actually have a Balance shaft?
