I just installed pin sockets into my PR3 ECU Friday, and it ran great all weekend. Today as I was leaving my house after lunch, I just got around the corner and I felt my car losing power. I look down and my tach is reading 0 RPM, but the engine is still running and I'm still moving. As soon as I took my foot off the the engine died, and wouldn't restart. At first I was almost certain it was the computer, because my fuel pump was still priming when the key was turned on. Now that I've talked to a few people, I understand it can also be the Ignition Control Module, the Ignition Coil, or the Igniter. I'm getting my buddy to send me some new chips to try. I checked the chip and pin sockets today and they looked good. For those of you that have had this problem before, what turned out to cause it? How did you fix it? Anyone got any other ideas? I'm going to go out and plug my computer back in now to try to start it one last time.

Just went out and tried it, the car fired right up. I drove it around my neighborhood for about 10 minutes, then I ventured out onto to the parkway right by my house. I went about as far I was going to, and I was turning around when my tach dropped to 0 again, and the car would not restart. This time it threw code 14 though. Wait a minute, Barometric Sensor? I just looked it up, how would that make my car cut off and not restart? Maybe it was code 15 or 16 and I just misread it. So my car only does it when its hot. I really can't try to restart it until I get some new chips, I broke the legs off my last one trying to pull it out when I was stranded. Anyone?

Anyone out there? I'm almost 80% percent sure its the ignitor, but I'm having a hard time locating one. I know I'm not the only one that has had no spark.

Got a new ignitor, cap, rotor, plugs, and plug wires today. I'll slap them on whenever it stops raining, and I can try to fire it up whenever my ECU chips come, which should be Thursday. If this doesn't work, then I know its the coil.
