All 4 of my cylinder is not getting any spark! help?
so lets start with what exactly happened.
So my mom was driving her 2000 honda civic and all of a sudden based on her account "i was just driving normally. then the engine just got cut off and when i tried turning it on it just cranks and cranks but never turns on."
So I went to the car, and i turned the key, and all I hear is the cranking noise like its trying to start, but it never does.
I did a timing test and its showing that I have no sparks at all in all 4 cylinders.
I changed the cap, rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil, and the whole distributor. still no spark.
I can hear the fuel pump priming, and I can smell the fuel in the engine bay while im trying to start it. So the fuel pump is working fine.
Im lost, any ideas?
*I checked all the fuses, everythings good.

Only time Ive ever seen something like this was a bad ECU but I dont have a EK so Im not sure on the list of things you should check first.

i had this problem and it was a bad ecu. the ecu was not sending the signal to the icm to fire. grab another ecu and plug it in. see if that fixes it. maybe a friends ecu. does not have to be the right one just needs to work.

Grab a tester and start testing the wires before the ignitor...if u dont have spark before ignitor then check the ecu...if u do have spart before and after ignitor. Also try taking of the dizzy cap and have someone crank it while u look at the rotor to make sure it turns while cranking....if not...i would check your timing belt. thought i dont know exactly what timing test is...so maybe u already checked....
