new here...having tranny/speedsensor problems
I just thought I'd introduce myself before I posed a question. My name is John, I'm 26 and still into Import go-fast goodies. I have a 2001 Integra LS 4 door Automatic. The ONLY mods are the Greddy cat-back, Eibach springs, Type-R strut tower brace, and Drag Gen III turbo kit.
Here's my problem. We got the turbo kit on the car. I drove maybe 75 miles tops. I was on the interstate playing this ricer in a new Cougar with a V6 in it...I decided I had to layeth the smack down on the rice boy so I flew up behind him at 130. I let out of it and punched it from 75. I passed him of course BUT then I threw a check engine light and D4 started blinking. After some research...It blew a speedsensor/altenator fuse (7.5A). The codes show a P1298 which I think is an EGR valve code, a O2 sensor heater code (#2 sensor), and a shift solenoid A malfunction. You can't put it in gear with out the tranny clunking into place...you know like its not building any pressure to engage the gear...ir it could be stuck in fourth in D4. I can manually shift it from 1 to 2 and drive it around though. If I replace the fuse it doesn't blow again until I slow down to almost a complete stop and then take off again. I need help here...anything will be appreciated.
