ok last night i started up my car and got down the street to notice i had no speedo...and a CEl..i dono what triggered it..my car was sitting..i just started it up and bam...cel...anyways....i do'nt see how it could be wiring...car was just sitting and it stopped working..anyways...the other night i went racing at the strip and after my last race my second gear wasn't working correctly....i changed the oils..and ran that GM shiz...still is shitty so i'm assuming the tranny is fucked....so i'm just wondering..if its throwing the CEL b/c the tranny is messed or b/c of something else...?

and last ngiht i had it in 5th gear and i just stoppped moving....i know my trans is fucked...

Code 17 points toward the speed sensor circuit.

yo jim, remember when the speed sensor went out on my b16, thats code 17, plus that tranny you got has over 146,xxx miles on her I'm sure shes wore out. LOL. I got another speed sensor that should work we can try it. You know where i live.....peace bro

meh I had over 200,000 miles on a tranny and it didn't have any problems...
