Default Need wiring help

I was wanting to connect some gauges to my car, but I don't know how to connect the power wire to my '90 Civic Hatch's dash lights. do I connect in the two front slots on the fuse? Or do I take apart the cluster and connect from there??

You can use the free pins on the under dash fuse box for power and illumination. 94

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...ayphotohosting See the 3 terminals, [free pins] just above the fuse puller and spare fuses.
You should have a 12V+ constant, [hot at all times] a 12V+ 2nd ign., [hot in run] and an illumination, [hot when park/head lights are on].
For the illumination, unless your gauges have both the pos.(+) and neg.(-) for their illumination you can not get them to "dim" along with your dash lights, [dash lights dimming is done by controlling the neg.(-) lead going to the bulb, it is possible, in most cases, to modify the illumination bulbs ground, [isolate it from the common ground] in the gauges and add the ground lead if you want the ability to dim them along with the dash lights. 94

If I connect into the park/headlight on fuse, then the gauges would light up when I use my car's switch, right?

That is correct, however they will not dim when using the "Dash Lights Brightness Controller". 94

awesome. That's great, because it comes with its own dimmer switch. One last question, am I allowed to have more than one wire in the fuse? Or should I avoid that? Thanks!

You could yes as long as its just the lights. But if you use the blank spots in the fuse box you still have to put in a inline fuse.

Not sure what you mean, yes you can plug more then one lead into the free pin, however all leads need to be fused, or if using one fuse, it can not exceed the current capacity, [amps] of the smallest gauge lead connected to the fuse. 94
