a friend of mine put a b16a2 in a 92 integra and runs kinda weired but boggs out at about 4000 and air blows out of the intake man instead of in

 

is the car wired properly? does the motor sound fine? is the throttle body open up all the way ? are spark plug wires in all the way? any check engine codes?

my first recommendation is to check all the vacum hoses, check for anything in the intake manifold. then move onto the distributor and check the resistance values.

 

Check the firing order?

 

fire is perfect throttle is perfect timming is on the money idles kinda weired though

 

check the IACV, my friend hooked his up backwards and it did the same thing, good luck

 

but how would the iacv make the motor blow air out and bog out at 4 grand, and how would you you do it backwards if the plug only goes on one way

 

omg!! air blows out!! thats the funniest **** ive heard all day. sorry. im kinda drunk. sounds like the cam timing is waaaay off. think about it. the exhaust valves open, and the pistons go up, when they should go down, hence blowing air out of the manifold instead of sucking it in. the timing is NOT right. just think about it. youll get it.
