Default Need some help!

My 98 civic ex is throwing out a code 67 which is a catalyst system functioning below threshold or something. How can i fix this?? Does this affect the vtec in my car?? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance, ed.

stock ex sys???

if you have a stock exhuast manifold pull the heat shield and look for a crack...

code is catalyst deterioration.... bad cat.....

if the has never been totalled and has less than 80k on it manifold and converter both are covered by federal emmision requirements warranty!!!
