Default Which OBD 1 Distributor(s) For B16a Head?

Which OBD - 1 Distributors are correct AND fit b16a or b18c5 head?

its depend on your wiring ur'e using. if ur'e using OBD1 wiring, u should use OBD1 distributor. u can't use OBD0 or type r or GSR distributor. If i'm wrong, please correct me. ur ECU also must equivalent too. PR3 or PWo for OBD0, P30 for OBD1, P72 for GSR and P73 for B18C5.

i have obd0 wiring and am converting to obd1 with harness adapter and p28 ecu - basically to be able to get the better Hondata. so need the correct dizzy - what about the sohc vtec distributors?

B and D series are not interchangable except for a 90-91 LS Dizzy on a D16A6 since there both OBD0. If you convert to OB1 you'll need any B series OBD1 Dizzy which will work. You'll have to soder the wires to the new dizzy though and change injector clips to make it work right

I would say that a Del Sol VTEC distributor would work perfectly. It is a B16A, after all.

hey, i heard that if you kept the injector resistor box that you did not have to monkey with the injectors (obd0)??

Go with the OBD1 Del Sol b16a distributer.

correct. but that only goes for saturated ones or peak and hold i cant remember
