Need some clarification on changing lower ball joint
Hey guys, any help would be appreciated!
I just replaced an axle on my buddy's 97 Accord I4, and the front LBJ is toast and needs replacing. I've never done this on any car before, so I just need to make sure I'm on the right track. I got a new LBJ and I picked up this press at Harbor Freight:

So is this gonna work? Tips?
Should the press be able to remove the old ball joint or do I use a BFH to get it out like I've heard people do?
Thanks

Well you're supposed to use the press kit to get it out, we use the air hammer. You might be able to get it with the BFH, but may as well use the press. That looks like everything you need, just make sure it's set in there nice and square when you go to press it back in.
