Default need sleeves??

Hey guys, i have an ls motor that im building to turbo...Ross racing pistons (.30 over) Scat H-beam rods...my question is...do i need to sleeve the block, or if im only boring out 30 over could i get by with a girdle? any advice is appreciated...

.30 over is perfectly fine on a stock block.

do a search...its been coverd many times before.

Ha, .3" is a hellofa overbore. you would need sleeves for that. but if you meant .30mm that would be fine.

And ya just thew that girdle question in there out of the blue.. If your not revving above 8200rpm's your fine.

Go over to the forced induction area and read.
