need to pick someones brain!!!!
Alright heres my problem.....
I have a 92 CS hatch w/ an lsvtec. I left for college and being a poor college student had to leave the car behind. I now have enough money to drive it again but now under parital throttle in 1st and 2nd gear I am getting a heavy studder, now at first I thought, I haven't check plugs and wires in a while, so I changes them, still no affect. Then thought maybe from sitting the fuel filter went bad, wrong again. I still think it is something with the fuel but have yet to find the cause, tommorrow I will be installing a new O2 senser(needs one since it wil be tuned soon with uberdata) and I am hoping this will fix the problem. Now I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone could know the cause.

I left it with about 1/2 a tank and it has been driven during winter,spring breaks. Also always run premium and already ran the cleaners.
Also did the take it out and run it at 5000rpm+ on the highway for a while.
I will take a look at the dis. and clean out the tb.
This problem has been plaguing me for some time and I am stumped.

soooooo....how OLD is the gas?
Anything more than one or two months old can start to give you problems. Especially during very lean conditions like low speed steady cruise or any light throttle application.
Just run out the tank and fill it up (actually a LOWER octane is better, more volatile) It usually takes two full tanks worth to get it normal again.

Going along with the throttle body idea, try swapping your TB with your stock one, I know the stock one is smaller, but it won't hurt it. I'm running a CX throttle body on my B18C cuz it was doing the same thing.
