Need a mechanics help, Please.
I'm helping a friend with putting a new motor in a '99 Isuzu Rodeo (Honda Passport), we have the new motor in and cannot get it to fire. The motor turns over fine, there is fuel pressure at the injectors and the injectors check out with a multi meter. We have double and triple checked cam and crank timing and fuel pressure, grounds and elec. connections. The only thing left is to check the coil packs. How do you go about checking the coil packs to make sure they're good?
Does anyone have any ideas about what the problem may be?

check spark at the spark plug cable, take it like 5mm away from a ground and the spark should fly, and try that for the different coil packs, it has 3, right?
on the passport engine there is a coilpack for everyplug...simply remove 1 coil pack remove the spark plug put the spark plug into the coil pack like normal...make sure the coilpack is connected..then turn it over to see if u got any spark at the plug...try this on all coilpack to make sure they have them...also ck fuses make sure nothing is blowen...
If your injectors aren't firing and you're not getting spark then the engine may not be getting a running signal from the crank/cam sensors. I don't know where those are on this engine (It's an isuzu, right?), also check to make sure the ecu is powered. It is unlikely that all the coil packs are bad at once.
