My question is if a 97 y7 engine harness fits on a 99 y7 engine? Do i need the 99 harness or will my 97 harness fit. I did so reserch and found out the part number on my harness is 32110-p2e-a11 and the other engine has a 32110-p2f-a00.

Will my harness fit as is, modify it, or replace it?

 

the only thing that wont clip in is the distributor. 99 has a rectangle plug instead of a square plug. so match the distributor to the harness or use a jumper.

 

can i swap the distributor?

I know the ecu plugs are different...OBD2A vs. OBD2B
I think something is different with the purge control solenoid by the carbon canister is different too.

If your car is a 97, and your putting in an engine from a 99 keep your stock 97 harness...
Im pretty sure everything will plug up for the most part (IDK about the distributor)...
I thought you were trying to use a 99 harness in a 97 body...

99 harness won't plug in. use your 97 and swap the distributor.
